Stephen Ainsworth, Ph.D.
Co - President
Mr. Ainsworth, Co-President, joined ChoiceSpine as Vice President of R&D in 2015 and then served as Executive Vice President of Strategy and Technology, responsible for R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Operations, and International Business. Having over 25 years of experience in medical device design, strategy, and commercialization, Steve is a seasoned executive who continues to drive innovation. He received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer and an MS and PhD in Bioengineering from Clemson University.
Andy Broyles
Co - President
Mr. Broyles, Co-President, previously served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer from 2019 through 2023. Before joining ChoiceSpine, Andy gained 22 years of experience in finance, operational, and strategic roles across a diverse set of industries and companies, including healthcare accounting and consultancy firm – PYA, Ruby Tuesday, Scripps Networks, and most recently as Senior Vice President of Global Business Services for Discovery Inc. Andy holds an MBA and a BS in Accountancy degree from East Tennessee State University.
Keith Clements
Vice President of Sales
Keith joined ChoiceSpine in the summer of 2019 to lead our US sales team. Combining his decade spent as a healthcare provider with over 15 years of spine hardware and biologics sales experience, he embodies our customer-focused approach with the best clinical outcomes in mind. Prior to entering the medical device industry, Keith served as the Director of Sports Medicine and Head ATC for University of Tennessee Men’s Athletics. He graduated with a BS in Athletic Training from Fresno State and MS in Exercise Biochemistry from Cal Poly.
Anderson Collins
Vice President of Business Development and International
Anderson Collins joined ChoiceSpine in 2011, holding various leadership positions. He drives sustained growth, fosters innovation, and positions ChoiceSpine to ensure future success while strategically leading business development, evaluating business and M&A opportunities, and international expansion. Mr. Collins has an extensive business and market development, operations, supply chain, and finance background and holds a B.S. from Louisiana Tech University and an MBA from Texas Christian University and led an international business unit for a specialty material manufacturer.

John has been at Choice Spine since its founding in 2006. He oversees all accounting functions for the company. On his first day with ChoiceSpine, John was responsible for going to the courthouse to set up Choice Spine as a company. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, majoring in Accounting.
Ron Moore
Senior Director of Marketing
Ron Moore joined ChoiceSpine in August 2019 as Senior Director of Marketing. Previously, he held marketing and product management roles for multiple organizations, bolstered by an 18-year Medtronic Spine & Biologics tenure. Leading teams and introducing groundbreaking technologies in the spinal market, Ron’s extensive operational expertise in private and public companies contributed to the success of organizations such as Medtronic, Orthofix, LDR, and Life Spine. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Crichton College in Memphis, Tennessee.
Jayden Garfield
Senior Director of Research and Development
Jayden joined the Engineering team at ChoiceSpine in 2018 and has 14 years of medical device experience, most of which focused on leading innovative new product development efforts. He graduated from the University of Utah and holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering.
Damon Sparks
Director of Clinical Affairs
Damon Sparks joined the ChoiceSpine team as a Field Engineer in 2018. He moved into his current Director of Clinical Affairs role in January 2021. With over 17 years of experience in clinical support, product development, and commercialization in the spine industry, Damon leads a clinical department focused on supporting our customers with in-depth product knowledge and data. Damon graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MS in Biomedical Engineering.
Kim Finch
Director of Regulatory Affairs
Kim joined ChoiceSpine in 2012, where she is responsible for overseeing Regulatory Compliance in both domestic and international markets. Kim has over 25 years of experience in the medical industry including Quality Assurance, Regulatory Compliance, Orthopedic, Ophthalmic, and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing. Before working at ChoiceSpine, Kim was responsible for Regulatory Compliance at Odyssey Medical Technologies.
Jerrod Slaton
Director of Accounting
Jerrod joined the ChoiceSpine team in March 2020 as our Director of Accounting. He brings over 15 years of experience to ChoiceSpine from various finance roles. Prior to joining ChoiceSpine, Jerrod held several finance leadership positions at GE. He holds Bachelor’s and Masters of Accountancy degrees from East Tennessee State University.
Judy Barkhurst
Director of Business Analytics
Judy Barkhurst joined ChoiceSpine in October of 2012 and directs our business analytics functions and contracting. Before that, Judy was a consultant and Director of Marketing for a disposable medical products company for 15 years. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Industrial / Organization Psychology.
