Event: NASS 2019

Date: September 25th-28th, 2019

Location: McCormick Place, West Building, Chicago, IL

Every year, ChoiceSpine attends a conference hosted by the National American Spine Society (NASS). This annual meeting of surgeons, specialists, manufacturers, distributors, and others in the multidisciplinary spine care community gather to discuss new ideas, products, and spinal surgery solutions.

Aside from the chance to network with industry professionals and others interested in spinal care, this event provides attendees the opportunity to learn and grow amidst some of today’s top leaders in healthcare. As noted on one NASS event posting, this conference is all about “the future of spine care. [Where] renowned experts present new treatments and procedures that immediately can be implemented in your practice.”

Reasons to Attend NASS 2019

The team at ChoiceSpine attends this NASS conference every year. Senior Director of Marketing, Ron Moore, describes the event as, “very beneficial to everyone who attends.”

“There’s always something new to learn about at NASS, from new advanced surgical techniques to cutting-edge implants like our very own Boomerang™ or Tiger Shark C™. At NASS, everyone comes together to discuss the latest research and ideas that are on the way to the market. It’s exciting to get to see firsthand what this technology and research could mean for the future of spine care,” Ron continues.

Professional growth isn’t the only reason to attend NASS this year. One of the most important reasons to attend is to help further the advancement of patient care. At this year’s conference, for example, there will be hands-on courses, Q&A opportunities, and surgical demos specifically focused on improving patient care with easier, faster surgery and recovery periods.

What to Expect at the Event

In addition to interactive opportunities with our team, NASS also holds demonstrations throughout the multi-day event. On Wednesday (9/25), attendees will have the opportunity to attend a Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery hands-on course and Neurospine Endoscopic Spinal Surgery and Cadaver Workshop.

On Friday (9/27), attendees can also opt to take part in a hands-on Lumbar Spinal Injections course. These demonstrations will be performed on cadavers in order to demonstrate the improved outcome for both surgeons and their patients.

Essentially, NASS is a learning experience for anyone interested in spine care. With the addition of ChoiceSpine’s exciting announcement (booth #3819!), this year’s conference is one you won’t want to miss. From our team to you, we hope to see you there!
