VBR Implant Device

The HAWKEYE™ (VBR) implant device is intended for use in the thoracolumbar spine (T1-L5) to replace a collapsed, damaged, or unstable vertebral body due to tumor or trauma (i.e., fracture). The VBR implant device is intended for use with supplemental fixation and is to be used with autograft and/or allograft. Made from radiolucent PEEK, HAWKEYE™ comes in a variety of lengths, widths and heights to accommodate most patient anatomies.

  • Built in lordosis: 8°
  • 14-60mm implant sizes in 2mm increments
  • Two footprint options: small (12×14) and medium (14×16) to treat various patient anatomies
  • Large center opening for packing bone graft material
  • Lateral windows for implant positioning, verification and confirmation of the fusion process over time
  • Surgeon friendly instrumentation to simplify the procedure

PEEK Features

  • Choice of endplate lordosis: 0° or 6°
  • Two footprint options: small (12×14) and medium (14×16) to treat various patient anatomies
  • 10-50mm implant sizes in 1mm increments
  • Large center opening for packing bone graft material
  • Radiographic markers for implant positioning, verification and confirmation of the fusion process over time
  • Surgeon friendly instrumentation to simplify the procedure
